Which Lash Lifting Adhesive is Best for You?

Choosing the right lash lift adhesive can make a big difference to your application technique, working time and overall treatment experience. The Lifted range offers four options, each designed to work with specific techniques and formulations.

Whether you prefer a traditional adhesive, something faster like the gel, a more flexible balm consistency or the powder method used in Korean Lash Lift treatments, here's what you need to know.

Lifted Adhesive

A versatile option for traditional and Korean Lash Lift treatments.

Lifted Adhesive has a medium drying time, making it a great all-rounder for lash artists who want reliable performance without adding extra time to their treatment.

Compatible with all Lifted formulas, it can be used for both traditional and Korean Lash Lift techniques. Its versatility makes it suitable for lash artists of all experience levels.

As it doesn't impact processing time, it's a great option if you're looking to keep your treatment flowing efficiently.

Top Tip: Apply the adhesive onto the shield before placing the lashes and wait a couple of seconds so that the adhesive gets tacky. This will make it a lot more grippy so lashes stay on the shield.

Lifted Adhesive Gel

Ultra-strong hold with a quicker-drying, easy-to-use formula.

The new and improved Lifted Adhesive Gel has been developed to make lash placement easier, quicker and more convenient. With a faster-drying formula and an easy-dispensing tube, it offers improved control while keeping application hygienic and mess-free.

Suitable for both traditional and Korean Lash Lift techniques, it's a versatile option for beginners who are still building their confidence and experienced lash artists looking for a reliable, strong-hold adhesive.

For the best application, we recommend working in small sections, securing and positioning the natural lashes as you go. Alternatively, if you're confident working at a faster pace, you can apply a layer of gel across the shield and use an applicator wand to brush the natural lashes into position.

Lifted Adhesive Balm

For artists who prefer a slower-setting, more flexible working consistency.

Lifted Adhesive Balm has a slower drying time, giving you more opportunity to position, adjust and perfect natural lash direction during application.

Suitable for both traditional and Korean Lash Lift techniques, it's compatible with all Lifted formulas and can be used by lash artists of all experience levels.

The trade-off is treatment time. Its slower-setting properties can increase overall treatment time by approximately 20-30%, so it's worth factoring this into your appointment schedule.

Lifted Lash Lift Powder

Designed specifically for Korean Lash Lift treatments.

Lifted. Lash Lift Powder is formulated for use with the Lifted Cysteamine system and is suitable for Korean Lash Lift treatments only.

With a slow drying time, it offers a different approach to securing natural lashes during the treatment. It's designed for artists who are already comfortable with lash lift application and have an intermediate level of experience.

Using the powder method adds approximately 1-2 minutes to your overall processing time, so allow for this when planning your appointments.

Top Tip: When mixing the Lash Lift Powder with Lifted. With Cysteamine, you’re aiming for a peanut butter-like consistency so that it’s thick enough to keep lashes in place, but not too thick that it slows the processing right down.

Which One Should You Choose?

Ultimately, the best option depends on your preferred application technique and the way you like to work.

  • Choose Lifted Adhesive if you want a versatile, medium-drying adhesive that works across all Lifted formulas without extending your treatment time.
  • Choose Lifted Adhesive Gel if you like working a bit quicker or need extra hold.
  • Choose Lifted Adhesive Balm if you prefer a slower-setting consistency that gives you additional time to position and adjust natural lashes.
  • Choose Lifted Lash Lift Powder if you're performing a Korean Lash Lift using the Lifted Cysteamine system and are confident with the powder application technique.

Whichever option you choose, understanding how each product works will help you get the most out of your lash lift treatments.
