How to reverse a lash lift
Lash lifts are growing in popularity and its easy to see why. The treatment helps your clients achieve long and curled lashed for up to 8 weeks, with minimal aftercare! However, like with any beauty treatment, sometimes it doesn’t always go to plan.
The lashes can either not lift at all or become too curled! But don’t worry if the clients’ lashes are over permed and they’ve ended up with eyelashes that are too curly, you can reverse the lift.
Here are some of our lash lifting insider tips and tricks on how to reverse a lash lift.
Here’s how to reverse a lash lift.
- Firstly, cleanse the lashes using our Protein Remover Pads.
- Then apply Step 1 Lift Solution through the lashes using a mascara brush, for around 2 minutes.
- Remove Step 1 and then apply Step 2 Fix Solution and repeat the process.
- Top Tip: Constantly brush through the lashes and avoid curling the lash with the brush. Straight downward strokes are best.
- Remove Step 2 and then apply Step 3 Enrich Solution. Leave on for 24 hours.
Once you have followed the above steps, we recommend waiting at least 4-6 weeks before you attempt the lash lift again. This is to ensure the clients lashes are not over processed or damaged.
Remember: When using our Lifted kit, the key to getting long natural lashes is to take your time and follow our guidelines. You can always adjust the timings slightly depending on the condition of the clients’ natural lashes.
Lifted solutions should only be placed at the root of the natural lash and not all over. If you place the solution all over from root to tip, you could over process and damage the natural lash, resulting in a poor lift. Be careful when placing the solution as more does not equal a better lift.
