Getting The Best From Your Lash Adhesive
At LashBase we always want to give you the best possible advice. This blog is no different. We have put together our Top 6 Tips on 'Getting The Best From Your Lash Adhesive'.
Top Tip #1 - Select the right adhesive for you.
At LashBase we always advise to choose an adhesive that suits your speed and technique as well as conditions that you are lashing in.

Top Tip #2 - Only buy what you need.
We don’t recommend over stocking on your adhesive. A back up is fine for when you run out but avoid ordering 2/3 for yourself at any one time. We advise replacing your adhesive every 6 weeks from opening.
Bonus Tip: Write the date you opened on the bottle or box, so you know when it needs replacing
Top Tip #3 - Shake your adhesive.
Shake your adhesive for at least 2/3 minutes each morning before you begin your day or 2/3 seconds with the LashBase Shaker. We would also recommend shaking right before each client too.
Top Tip #4 - Dispense your adhesive a little bit at a time.
There is no need to go overboard when dispensing your lash adhesive. We recommend a small drop and replacing every 10-15 minutes. This prevents wastage!
Bonus Tip: to prevent an over load of fumes, drop a tiny bit of water on your old dot before dispensing a new dot.
Top Tip #5 - Keep your adhesive looking it's best.
Once you have dispensed your adhesive wipe the nozzle with a lint free wipe and place the lid back on tightly.
Avoid using anything that is not lint free. The fibres will stick to the nozzle and damage it.
Top Tip #6 - Store your adhesive correctly.
Once you are finished with your adhesive, store away upright in a vacuum sealed container away from direct sunlight !Don’t forget to leave in your Silica Bag. This helps draw out any moisture!
