Let’s Talk Wet Look Lashes
Whilst the trend of wet look lashes may not be completely new, it seems to be increasing in popularity in the lash world right now.
The wet look first came about in 2019, and is created by using narrow, almost closed volume fans. This look is great for creating texture and spikey looks so is perfect for the clients who want that ‘Kim K’ effect.

So how do you create a wet look / effect set?
M and LL Curls seem to be the most popular curl of choice for this look. The ‘spikes’ can be created by using 0.07 2-4D fans depending on the condition of the natural lash and how much it can hold. The trick is to create a triangle shape and keep the fan closed to create density and texture.

You can follow a spiky/Kim K lash map to create the wet effect look. See Image below for reference:
The great news is that this look is suitable for a variety of eye shapes, especially for the client who have medium to full natural lashes.
