A Lash Tech's Guide to Essential Products and Restocking

Being a lash tech is a rewarding career, but knowing what products to buy and when to restock can feel overwhelming. This guide will break down the essentials and help you create a smooth and successful lash business.

Monthly Must-Haves: Your Lash Tech Essentials

These are the products you'll be reaching for daily, so consistent restocking is key to avoid running out mid-appointment!

• 1 Lash Shampoo Bottle
• Any Lash Adhesive (3/5ml)
• Micropore Tape (1 of each tape)
• Isolation Tape
• Transpore Tape (3M nexcare tape)
• Eyepads (maybe select 2 types, premium shaped is our best-seller, then foam pads) (each pack has 10 so for part time, 2-4 packs)
• Box of lashes either LBX or Enhance -  (full time person needs 5-10 boxes a month and a part time around 3-5 a month)
• Choice of Pro Mades: Third Generation/ Loose Pro Mades (2-5 boxes depending how much you use Pro Mades)
• Glue Rings/ Plastic Glue holders (1-2 packs)
• Micro applicators (1 pack)
• Applicator wands (1 pack) 

Every 3-6 Months: The Refresh

These products don't need replacing as often but are still vital for a professional lash service.

• Prep Liquids - ph Neutral/ Primer/ Retention and Speed Booster
• Flexibonder
• Disposable pillow/bed covers
• Couch roll
  
• Larger top up order of lashes and promades - great for trying new ranges of lashes
• Client Aftercare Kits / Shampoo Sachets to give out to customers
• Lash Lifting products
• Tweezers (if needed or to try a new one)
• Clear Adhesive ready for Summer/Christmas colour sets
• Tweezer Cleaner
• Barbicide

Top Tip: Create a monthly and 3-monthly checklist to ensure you never run out of essential supplies. Stock takes are also great to do regularly so that you know when you are running low on certain products.
